Group pictures are always tricky, aren't they? Someone is always looking the wrong way! These are the best.

Darren and Ethan

Darren and Ethan are the first of my dolls to have ears.
Darren's stripey T-shirt, like Ethan's is made from one of mine and fastened all along the left shoulder and sleeve.

This picture shows some of the details on Darren shorts. Patch pockets on the back and long pockets on the side of the leg fastened with a tiny button. The buttons came from the gregory-knopp.co.uk web site. They are so small that I had to use a magnifying glass when I was sewing them on.

And here are the details on the back of Ethan's jeans. For the waistband, I used the edge of the collar from the denim shirt, it had the right look for a waistband and saved me having to do the top stitching.

Evie and Ethan - the Maytime dolls.

At last! Some pictures of the two dolls I completed in May.
I was lucky to find two lovely pieces of red fabric for Evie's dress. I couldn't decide which to use so ended up combining them to make this pretty springtime dress. I made scrunchies for her hair with the same material as the sleeves and collar.
Her brother Ethan is wearing a T-shirt made from one of mine which I no longer wear. Because dolls have large heads it opens with press studs all along the left sleeve.

Evie's red tights are also made from an old T-shirt. She is still wearing Briony's shoes but I plan to make her some little denim boots. Ethan's jeans are made from the same denim shirt that was used for Carole's jeans - just a different style. I'm making my own patterns now using Linda Carr's book just for guidance on the size although I still seem to have to make things larger as my dolls come up bigger than expected.

Daisy and Darren - the April Dolls
They are not quite finished but here are some pictures of Daisy and Darren. I really like these two. They have lovely chunky hair and cute little faces.

I painted their eyes and lips with Acrylic paint and made the eyes bigger than on the previous dolls. Their mouths are wider and less bow shaped.
